BlueCross BlueShield 1-1-2017 Pharmacy Network Changes!

pill-bottles-7-8-11-2

On January 1, 2017, BCBS will be modifying their In-Network pharmacy partners. CVS will no longer be in the BCBS pharmacy network. This means that any employee that utilizes a CVS pharmacy after 1/1/2017 will be required to pay the full cost of the prescription not the applicable copay or negotiated in-network rate.

To avoid unwanted pharmacy expenses, please notify employees that CVS will not be a covered pharmacy under their current insurance. Employees will be able to utilize the below list of pharmacies classified as in-network preferred and in-network non-preferred. To gain the maximum benefit from BCBS we recommend employees utilize in-network preferred pharmacies.

Fairway Partners has prepared the following memo and Pharmacy list for your reference.
